Reimagining Automotive & Mobility: Driving Customer-Centric Change

How might we make AUTOMOTIVE & MOBILITY more CUSTOMER-CENTRIC in VIETNAM?

Doodle Design recently brought together Vietnam’s top automotive and mobility leaders for an immersive session designed to reimagine the customer experience through Design Thinking and Human-Centered Collaboration. This engaging event focused on co-creating practical, customer-centric solutions for a rapidly evolving industry.

The workshop was led by Paul Nguyen of DealersEDGE Asia and Chris Elkin of Doodle Design, with valuable insights on consumer trends from Rakesh Dayal of Ipsos Vietnam. Together, industry experts and participants explored critical questions aimed at reshaping automotive and mobility services to better serve Vietnamese customers.

Key questions tackled included:

  • How might we create a truly customer-centric experience throughout the automotive journey?
  • How might we engage customers as co-designers in crafting future automotive experiences?
  • How might we align stakeholders to co-create a seamless customer journey?
  • How might we foster sustainable, forward-thinking innovation within the industry?
Team activity

Through a series of collaborative exercises and real-life customer personas, participants reframed these challenges and developed actionable ideas with the potential to transform the automotive and mobility landscape in Vietnam.

From the rapid shift toward electrification and sustainable practices to the rise of personalized, digital, and #AI-powered experiences, one key insight emerged: a  customer-first experience must be at the heart of every innovation.

A special thanks to Greg Ohan of The Sentry and Keith D. Schulz, Jr. of Motul Vietnam for their continued support in championing sustainable, customer-centric change in the automotive sector.
