The Growth Designer connects Doodle with the potential opportunities the market has to offer. Growth Designer’s main role is to respond to rising clients’ business needs with creative Human-Centered Design recipes and solutions. A strategic, creative problem solver, the role is required to apply the Design Thinking toolkits, mindsets, and methods to deliver desirable and business viable outcomes for clients. The Growth Designer is expected to lead several Doodle’s new innovative initiatives to grow and expand the business. Candidates with a background of business consultancy, user research, brand strategist, product owners, facilitators are great plus for the role.

Solutions Crafting and Proposing
Together with the leadership’s team, the role will take the brief and reframe the challenges the clients face to propose strategic, creative solutions to solve clients’ problems and harness new opportunities.
The proposal process will require the role to understand and re-align on clients’ business background, industry’s latest challenges, and their long term and short term wins. During the process, the roles will also need to look again at all Human-Centered Design Recipes and methods to apply the most relevant and suited approach to the clients.

New innovative idea leadership
Lead the design process to define, ideate, test and prototyping Doodle’s budding initiatives to bring forward features/solutions/ideas to the market as fast as possible. It is asked of the role to fail fast to succeed sooner and eventually create a new product/service/platform that is most desirable and viable for Doodle. Details of the initiatives will be briefed once joined.
Workshop Facilitation
Collaborate with the facilitation team to plan, prepare and deliver Design Thinking workshops in either English or Vietnamese, in either physical or digital format. The scope will require the person to be comfortable and approachable while being resourceful, knowledgeable and responsive to the subject matter the workshop is solving for. Pre-workshop research and understanding of key challenges will be required. Ongoing training on Design Thinking and facilitation skills will be provided.
Profile Building and Business Development
Lead the profile building activities to grow Doodle’s presence in the community via social or business network. Profile building includes joining in events to expand relationships, organize Doodle’s thematic talks, create social media or Doodle’s blog content. The person is encouraged to proactively approach potential contacts to promote Doodle’s services.

Skillset:
Familiar with Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, Research, and CX/UX/UI areas.
Exposed and experienced in brand design, business/strategy consultancy, workshop facilitation/training, User Research, Customer Experience Design Projects.
Exposed and experienced with using various collaboration tools and resources: Mural, Miro, Zoom, Team.
At least 5 years working experience. Willing to travel. Flexible with work hours.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
Fluent in both English and Vietnamese is a good plus.
