Background

Designing, sourcing and delivering furniture around the world, SourceByNet is a much loved and globally renowned company. A dynamic, fun, and passionate team, and an innovative company, we were super excited to answer the call when SourceByNet asked us to help them make a positive change in their organisation. The goal? To empower and delight their team, encouraging them to produce fresh new perspectives and innovative ideas within the company to make an instant impact and also help shape a three-year roadmap.

How We Helped

Doodle introduced various Design Thinking methods to the leadership of SourceByNet during a three-day workshop that they, in turn, would be able to run with their international teams. We crafted a step-by-step recipe especially to suit SourceByNet’s mission and goals. We wanted the results to be a ‘known unknown’. The idea was to let the team plot its own course. They were encouraged to be open-minded and invited to unlock their imaginations. The three-day workshop proved to be an exciting process. We quickly moved from identifying the goals to brainstorming all kinds of ideas. We then distilled all of this creativity into ‘three best-concept posters’ and a concise brand strategy framework to be deployed across the organisation.

Everyone saw the benefits of Design Thinking and wholeheartedly put it to use. The better news is this great collaboration, involving every teammate, helped us create some of the best ideas we have had.
